We left the house at 6:30am and that turned out to be a good time since we missed the traffic through TREX. Arrived in Spearfish at 2:30 pm and spent time in pool and Homer worked on his laptop discovering that he was not getting his emails. He thought he had shut down computer but it had frozen and stayed on. Had to call Jan to go over and shut it down. Next morning we drove to Mt Rushmore, took one of the ranger walks, watched the movie and visited the exhibits. We drove back to Spearfish by way of Custer State Park. The Needles Highway was great. I thought we would be seeing a lot of wildlife on the loop road. They have a herd of 1500 bison, but we happen to come on the weekend they do the buffalo roundup and they were no where to be seen in the State Park. We did see a large group of bison in the Wind Cave Nat. Park but they were too far away for a picture. It was a gorgeuos day with lots of blue sky. I think we may be seeing some snow tomorrow. We drove to Devil's Tower today and You will have to wait for the next blog to find out about our alien encounter.
